Trezor Suite App : Manage Crypto On The Go
Trezor Suite’s mobile app brings much of the desktop power to your phone: balance views, transaction history, and the ability to send, receive, buy, and swap assets while keeping private keys on the hardware device. For many users, that means true mobility without sacrificing the hardware security model.
Setup is straightforward: connect your Trezor to the phone (USB or Bluetooth depending on model and OS), open Suite, and the mobile app will detect your accounts. On Android, USB + OTG connections are common; on iOS, Bluetooth support is limited to models with Bluetooth capability. Suite offers guided onboarding to create or restore wallets, which eases the mobile learning curve.
The mobile app keeps the same security guardrails as the desktop: signing requests still require device confirmation, you can enable experimental options, and trade/swap partners are surfaced within the app. Mobile adds convenience — push notifications for activity, quick portfolio glance, and on-the-go transactions — but the underlying signing flow is unchanged.
One important nuance: iOS restricts USB access, so if you have a Trezor model that only uses USB (and no Bluetooth), you may be limited to a view-only mode on iPhone unless you use a model with Bluetooth support. Android users typically enjoy fuller functionality thanks to broader USB support. Always check the compatibility notes when planning mobile usage.
Mobile is great for daily tasks — quick sends, checking balances, or monitoring trades — but for critical operations (large trades, multisig coordination, or firmware updates) many users still prefer desktop where screens and keyboard make it easier to validate details. That said, mobile’s feature set keeps expanding, and the app receives regular updates to close gaps.
